THE FOLLOWING WAS NOTED:
AESI arrived mid-morning at the request of the contractors in order to observe the aeration and compaction of lifts in the North
grading area. Water main progress continued but no backfill was placed.
North Grading Area:
Aeration progress slowed substantially today due to overcast and cool temperatures. The aeration and fill process is as previously
described, with fill soils pulled from the stockpile, aerated, placed, and compacted in the north playground, bus loop, and landscape
areas. The stockpile is nearly used up, and remaining fill required to raise grade in the noted area is on the order of one foot. Results
today were generally firm and unyielding, with no new lifts of fill placed.
Water Main:
Excavation continued Southward throughout the day as noted. No water backfill was placed during our visit.
