SECURITY, LLC DBA PONO SECURITY FOR SECURITY SERVICES AT
PIAZZA AND GATEWAY PARKS FOR RENTON FARMERS MARKET
THIS AMENDMENT, dated for reference purposes only as July 26, 2022, is by and between the
City of Renton (the “City”), a Washington municipal corporation, and DWR Security, LLC dba Pono
Security (“Consultant”), a Washington limited liability company. The City and the Consultant are
referred to collectively in this Amendment as the “Parties.” Once fully executed by the Parties,
this Amendment is effective as of the last date signed by both parties.
Whereas, the City engaged the services of the Consultant under Agreement CAG-22-194, dated
June 3, 2022, to provide necessary services for the Piazza and Gateway Parks for Renton Farmers
Market (referred to herein as the “Agreement”);
Whereas, the Parties wish to amend the Agreement to change the scope of work, change the
time for performance, and change the compensation in order to enhance and add security
services at the Boat Launch facility at Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park located at 1201 Lake
Washington Boulevard N, Renton, WA 98056.
NOW THEREFORE, It is mutually agreed upon that CAG-22-194 is amended as follows:
1.Scope of Work: Section 1, Scope of Work, is amended to include the additional security
staff at the Boat Launch facility at Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park as specified in
Exhibit “A-2,” which is attached and incorporated herein. Exhibits “A” and “B” remain
included in the Scope of Work.
2.Time of Performance: Section 3, Time of Performance, is amended to include additional
security at the Boat Launch facility pursuant to the schedule(s) set forth in Exhibit “A-2”:
Two guards on site from 11:00am to 7:00pm every Saturday and Sunday, and Labor Day
Monday. All Work shall be performed by no later than Monday, September 5, 2022.
Exhibits “A” and “B” remain included in the Scope of Work.
3. Compensation: Section 4, Compensation, is amended so that the maximum amount of
compensation payable to Consultant is increased by $8,320.00 from $11,047.00 to
$19,367.00, plus any applicable state and local sales taxes. The additional compensation
shall be paid based upon Work actually performed according to the rate(s) or amounts
specified in Exhibit “A-2” of the Agreement.

Additional Proposal Information :
Holidays : If an officer works on a holiday, they will be paid 1.5x their base wage, which
will be billed to City of Renton Hall Parks and Recreation as incurred. Pono Security only
observes the following six holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day,
Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
Scope of Work: Hourly Guard : 2 Guards on site from 11am to 7pm, every Sat and Sun.
Guards will be responsible for handling traffic control at the boat launch at Gene Coulon
