However can the same be said of the rear variance? If the slope in the rear gives way in the next 2-3 years due to sustained weight bearing caused by the fence/deck structure and the slope incline results in structural damages to any adjacent properties, who will be liable, the City of Renton, the 212 S 20th property owners, or each individual property owner that incurs damages? If this is an unknown will the determination include a liability clause or some cautionary statement?
