THE CONTRACT IS MODIFIED AS FOLLOWS:
Description of Change:
Item No. 5, Agreement Sum, reads: “The total amount of this Agreement is the sum of
$82,612.00…Total amount of agreement shall be $83,676.00.
Reason for Change:
The Total Amount of the Agreement was calculated using an 8.7% tax rate. The Washington
sales tax rate is currently 6.5%. The Renton sales tax rate is 3.6%. Total amount of the
agreement needs to be revised to include a 10.1% tax.

Sections 1-04.4 and 1-04.5 of the 2022 WSDOT/APWA Standard Specifications shall govern
this Change Order. The Work of the referenced Contract is modified to include the changes
detailed herein. The payment provided for herein shall constitute the complete and final
settlement for all costs of labor, equipment, materials, overhead, profit, permit fees, and all
other claims that may be made by the Contractor as a result of this change.
