CONTRACT AGREEMENT FOR SIGNAL POLE RELOCATION FOR
STANDBY AND UNFORSEEN ISSUES
THIS AMENDMENT, dated for reference purposes only as September 23, 2022 is by and between
the City of Renton (the “City”), a Washington municipal corporation, and Prime Electric Inc.
(“Contractor”). The City and the Contractor are referred to collectively in this Amendment as the
“Parties.” Once fully executed by the Parties, this Amendment is effective as of the last date
signed by both parties.
Whereas, the City engaged the services of the Contractor under Agreement CAG-20-371, dated
August 6Th, 2020, to provide necessary services for the replacement of a signal pole foundation
and install a new city supplied signal pole on the SE corner of Mill AVE S and Houser Way S.
(referred to herein as the “Agreement”).
Whereas, the Parties wish to amend the Agreement to change the compensation in order to
complete project due to unforeseen circumstances.
NOW THEREFORE, It is mutually agreed upon that CAG-20-371 is amended as follows:
Scope of Work: Standby for unidentified structure, BNSF requirements and void in foundation
hole.
1. Compensation: Compensation, is amended so that the maximum amount of
compensation payable to Contractor is increased by $24,193.38 from $93,922.50 to
$118,115.88, plus any applicable state and local sales taxes. The additional compensation
shall be paid based upon work performed according to the attached billing.
2.All terms of the Agreement not explicitly modified herein shall remain in full force and
effect and such terms shall apply to work performed according to this Amendment as if
fully set forth herein.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties have voluntarily entered into this Amendment as of the date
last signed by the Parties below.
