A copy of the Traffic Impact Analysis for Southport West is available online by clicking here. A new access into Southport will be provided by constructing the Park Ave N Extension Project. This project will extend Park Ave N to the north of Logan Ave N to provide access to Southport and the Boeing Company. Improvements include the construction of a railroad crossing, signal improvements, utility improvements, and illumination. Per the current Park Ave N Extension Project schedule, substantial completion is anticipated on October 13, 2023. Your comments will be added to the public record for consideration by the reviewing official and you have been added as a party of record. Thank you for your interest in this project and if you have any further questions or comments, please feel free to contact me. I am writing because, as a resident of the Bristol Apartments, I know the intersections of Lake Washington Blvd N. with both N. Southport Dr. and the Bristol/Gene Coulon access road can get very congested at rush hour. Are there plans in place to mitigate traffic given the additional 2,000+ parking spaces that will be added to the area per the proposal?
