SUBJECT: CONSTRUCTION MITIGATION DESCRIPTION
WSADA BUILDING ADDITION AND IMPROVEMENTS
Dear Vicki,
This letter is being written to satisfy the requirement for a Construction Mitigation Description for the
proposed construction of the addition to your existing WSADA office building.
At this time, we anticipate construction will begin in the spring of 2023 and conclude by fall 2023. The
proposed hours of operation for construction of the new building and building addition are 6am through
4pm, Monday through Friday. These start and finish times are earlier than typical business hours, and
are intended to minimize traffic and transportation impacts.
Proposed hauling/transportation routes for vehicles accessing the construction site will be limited to
access from Raymond Avenue Southwest, until such time that the site work is complete; all disturbed
surfaces are stabilized; and the owner, engineer, and City inspector provide written acceptance. For
continuation of work within the building, it is expected that the work will be done by hand and the
pathway connection will be used.
The construction plans for the project site will identify temporary erosion and sedimentation control
devices to be installed prior to construction, and maintained until the site is accepted by the owner,
engineer, and City inspector. These measures will minimize the migration of sediment into private or
public storm drainage systems. Also, the contractor shall be required to sweep as necessary to prevent
tracking sediment onto the public streets.
