The following briefly describes the application: PROJECT NUMBER/NAME: LUA-00-074,TP CIRQUE DU SOLEIL SALTIMBANCO PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A Temporary Use Permit to allow a temporary theatrical circus, Cirque du Soleil's Saltimbanco, and associated sponsor events to operate from July 5, 2000 to September 3, 2000 on portion of Boeing Parking Lot No. 6. Cirque du Soleil proposes to begin setting up tents and other temporary structures several weeks before the first performance. Maximum capacity per performance is 2,500 persons. Parking spaces for 900 vehicles will be provided on the site (Boeing will retain use of approximately 1,800 parking spaces). Based upon the information gathered in other cities where the circus has performed, it is estimated that 400 to 500 of these 900 parking spaces will typically be used.
