(AESI) was on-site in the morning for observation of Stormwater Detention Facility 2 progress, at the request of Jerry Jr. of CDC. Stormwater Detention Facility 2 While on-site, AESI observed progress on Stormwater Detention Facility 2. We noted that the installation of aggregate around the stormwater chambers and 1’ above was still underway, progress moving from west to east. AESI observed the contractor using a plate compactor to compact the top of the 1’ of installed aggregate. We observed that a separation liner had been placed over areas where the placement of aggregate was complete, as per plan. See Figure 1 for location of observed area today. Photo 1.
