DESCRIPTION OF SPECIFIC WORK TO BE ACCOMPLISHED: Removal of small vegetation and tree
saplings that have grown in the past several years. A backhoe and shredding machine will be the only
equipment used. No chemicals,.pesticides or herbicides will be used. Project will begin as soon as
permits are issued (see attached plan).
CONDITIONS OF PERMIT APPROVAL:
•The applicant shall comply-with all applicable sections of the City of Renton Land Clearing and Tree
Cutting Regulations and the City Noise Ordinance (attached). This work is not for the purpose of
preparing the site for future development.
•The applicant shall also obtain a Grading License before the start of work, if 50 cubic yards or more of
grading activity is to occur. The approved Routine Vegetation Management Permit (RVMP) allows only
for minimal earth movement as typically associated with vegetation removal.
• The applicant shall install temporary erosion control measures for the duration of the project in order to
prevent erosion and sedimentation impacts to May Creek or any surrounding property owner. The
applicant shall use all applicable Best Management Practices in order to assure this condition.
• No vegetation removal shall be performed in areas where slopes exceed 40 percent.
• No vegetation'removal shall to be preformed within a City of Renton regulated wetland or stream and
their associated buffers. Any work suspected of being preformed in a regulated wetland of stream and/or
their buffers, must first be verified by a qualified wetlands biologist and approved by the City of Renton,
Development Services Division.
• No equipment or trees shall obstruct a City sidewalk or street. Street and sidewalks are to be kept
clean of debris at all times.
•All downed vegetation shall be removed from site within 60 calendar days of disturbance. .
PERMIT EXPIRATION: This permit is good from the date of issuance (noted below) for a period not to
exceed one year. Any work performed after that time will require either a permit extension or a separate
permit.
