2022 Scope of Work
This Scope of Work memorializes the Agreement between the City of Renton, Neighborhood
Program and the Maplewood Estates Homeowners Association (MEHA)
PURPOSE:
The City has developed a Neighborhood Program to serve as a platform for building the
organizational capacity of neighborhoods by providing resources and op portunities to assist in
creating vibrant, healthy, and connected communities. As part of its Neighborhood Program,
the City recognizes and supports neighborhoods by providing grant matching opportunities to
make neighborhood improvements as a means of bringing neighbors together and enhancing
each neighborhood's sense of community.
Projects eligible for the grant matching program include, but are not limited to neighborhood
park improvements or additions, clean-up and landscaping projects, neighborhood events and
entertainment, conference and training registrations. Typically, approved projects will not
require ongoing City funding and should be completed within six months.
