We notice that according to the file that this property is to be rezoned to single residential district (R-1). However, the cover letter dated March 21, 1966 addressed to the Mayor and the Council shows that the property is rezoned to SR-1, which would be a different classification. All other documents, including the Notice of Hearing show rezoning request to R-1. Would you please clear this with the Planning Director and make the necessary correction on the Ordinance in the event that the R-1 rezoning is incorrect. Please advise. Mr. Ericksen stated this matter was continued at the last meet- ing, in order to contact the property owner. The property owner proposes to move two old houses onto this property. In contac- ting King County Health Department , he was advised that the Health Department feels that 9600 sq. ft. is the minimum lot size to be served by septic tanks . Mr. Er.icksen felt that this site should be limited to one building site with a minimum of 7500 sq. ft. ACTION: Moved by Bardarson, seconded by Cordell, that the hearing be closed. Motion carried. Moved by Racanello , seconded by Bardarson , that the rezone be denied. Discussion on the motion brought out that this would be denying the Applicant the use of his property. Mr. Racanello , with con- sent of second, withdrew his motion. It was then moved by Racanello , seconded by Denzer, to fre- ebmmend to the City, Cauncil the rezoning of the subject proper- ty from GS-1 to SR-1 , since the proposed rezone would be in agreement with the Comprehensive Plan. Discussion on the motion brought out that there is also a Variance requested on this property. Mr. Ericksen stated that the applicant intends to move two houses onto this prop- erty. The easement would serve both houses , .but''he _ f:elt' that there might be a possibility that the second house on the easement could be landlocked. He felt that the matter should be studied further.
