Puget Sound Energy PO Box 90868 Bellevue,WA 98009-0868 SUBJECT Shoreline Exemption Request for Ripley Lane North Dear Mr. Jainga: This letter is sent in response to your request for a Shoreline Exemption for the placement of a 4-inch gas line through Ripley Lane North. Upon review, the City of Renton has determined that this activity is not exempt for obtaining a Shoreline Substantial Development Permit for this activity. Specifically, we could not find an applicable exemption that would apply to your project in the City's Shoreline Program. With that said, I have attached a complete list of submittal requirements associated with a Substantial Shoreline Development Permit for your review.and.use. Lastly, as it appears on your plans that this project will take place in two jurisdictions, we encourage you to start working with King County as soon as possible. Dear Jason: Puget Sound Energy(PSE)has received a request for natural gas service to serve 6831 Ripley Lane N in the City. Ripley Lane N.Is a public right of way located within the City near Lake Washington. PSE proposes to tie into an existing 4"gas main and extend it along Ripley Lane N(per enclosed drawing to 6603 Ripley Lane N. (10 prospective natural gas customers will hook up). The entire natural gas project will be on dry land in the right of way and will not interfere with the normal public use of the surface waters. The natural gas project will have no significant adverse impact on the environment including, but not limited to,fish,wildlife,fish or wildlife habitat,water quality,and aesthetic values. The project does not involve the installation of a structure,and upon completion of the project the vegetation and land configuration of the site are restored to conditions existing before the project.
