NOTICE OF ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW COMMITTEE
RENTON, WASHINGTON
The Environmental Review Committee has issued a Determination of Non-Significance for the
following project under the authority of the Renton Municipal Code.
Sunset East Annexation Prezone - LUA09-043, A, ECF, P
Location: The 15.9-acre area is located south of Northeast 16th Street if extended, west
but not abutting 148th Avenue Southeast, north Northeast Sunset Boulevard, and east of
Jericho Avenue Northeast if extended.
The Sunset East Annexation area is being prezoned in advance of annexation, pursuant to
RCW 35A.14.330, so that zoning will be in place at the time the area comes into the City.
The City is proposing Residential 4 (R-4) zoning consistent with the Residential Low
Density (RLD) land use designation.
Appeals of the environmental determination must be filed in writing on or before 5:00 p.m. on
May 1, 2009. Appeals must be filed in writing together with the required $75.00 application fee
with: Hearing Examiner, City of Renton, 1055 South Grady Way, Renton, WA 98057. Appeals
to the Examiner are governed by City of Renton Municipal Code Section 4-8-110.B. Additional
