AMENOMENT TO TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT
This Amendment to Temporary Construction Easement replaces Sections 1 and 3 of that
certain Tempcxary Construdion Easeme�between the City of Renton,Grantor, and King
County,Grarrtee,executed by the City of Renton on January 26,2017 and King County on
December 27,2016,recorded as number 20170206000242.
The parties have agreed that Section 1 and 3 of the Temporary Constructian Easement should
be modified as hereinafter provided,now,therefore,
THE CITY OF RENTON AND KING COUNTY agree as follows:
• Sections 1 and 3 of the Temporary Constn,iction Easement are hereby repiaced with the

following sections:
Section 1:
Grarrt of Temporary Construction Easement:The Grantor,for and in consideration of the
benefit to the Renton Commun'ity of the Lake to Sound Trail,to the same extent and purposes
as If the rights granted had been acquired under the Eminerrt Domain Statute of the State of
Washington,hereby grants to Grarrtee a temporary construction easement on,across, and over
that portion of Grarrtors Property,together with the right to enter upon and have access to said
, Easement Area for the purpose of the Project work, and to take such other actions upon the
Easement Area as are necessary and/or convenient for the construction of Grantee's ProJed.
Grantor understands that the donation of a portion of the properly to King County for public use
is made voluntarily and with full knowledge of entidement to receive just compensation in the

form of surFace improvements.Additlonally, Orantor understands that he/they have the right to
request an apprafsai of the property,and hereby�ive up that right. j
The Grantor and Gr.antee are currently in the process of negotiating an Interagency Ag�eemen# � i
(IA)which will detail the rights and responsibilities of both parties including the consfiaction,
` mitigation, long-term capttal,operatlon and ma(ntenance of the trail. Until this IA is complete, � �
the County will compl}i with aN rules and regulations set fo�th by the Grantor and(ts jur(sdictibn.

begin upon written Notice
of Construction to the Grantor and shall cor�tinue in force for finrenty-four(24)months from the '

It is understood and agreed that the delivery of this Easement Is tendered and that the ferms !
