AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO AGREEMENT FOR THE DOWNTOWN
UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT, PHASE 1 CONCEPTUAL
ANALYSIS & DESIGN

THIS AMENDMENT, dated June 14, 2017, is by and between the City of Renton (the "City"), a
Washington municipal corporation, an�! Murray, Smith and Associates, Inc. ("Consultant"), an
Oregon corporation. The City and the Corisu.ltant are referred to collectively in this Amendment
as the "Parties." Once fully executed by tl�e Parties, this Amendment is effective as of the last
date signed by both parties. - •.
Whereas, the City engaged the services of�he Consultant under Agreement CAG-17-066, dated
February 1, 2017, to provide necessary services for the Downtown Utility Improvements
Project, Phase 1 Conceptual Analysis & Design (referred to herein as the "Agreement");
Whereas, the Parties wish to amend the Agreement to chang� th¢•-�onsultants name from
Murray, Smith & Associates, Inc. or MSA to Murrays'�Ittr; 1n�.=�r�-o�dei''to�consi�#2nt with
their Articles of Amendment filed on 04/28/2017 (attached). �`
NOW THEREFORE, It is mutually agreed upon that CAG-17-066 is amended as follows:
1. The First paragraph of CAG-17-066 is amended to read as follows:
THIS AGREEMENT, dated February 1, 2017, is by and between the City of Renton ( the "
I City"), a Washington municipal corporation, and Murray, Smith & Associates, Inc. effective
' April 28, 2017 shall be called Murravsmith, Inc.) (" Consultant"), an Oregon corpo�ation. The
City and the Consultant are referred to collectively in this Agreement as the "Parties." Once
fully executed by the Parties, this Agreement is effective as of the last date signed by both
parties.
2. All terms of the Agreement not explicitly modified herein shall remain in full force and
effect and such terms shall apply to Work performed according to this Amendment as if
fully set forth herein.
IN WITNE55 WHEREOF, the Parties have voluntarily entered into this Agreement as of the date
last signed by the Parties below.
