The Chairman described the final plat application and read a memo received from the City Engineer which stated the required utility plans, street plans and plat bond had not yet been received and recommending continuance of the hearing until these requirements have been met. The Planning Director stated that the existing house which is part of the same ownership but not included in the proposed plat may result in a non-conforming situation with reference to setbacks. The staff, therefore, requests that the applicant stake the westerly lot line of lot 4 and the south line of lot 3 so this matter can be reviewed. Audience comments were invited. Mr. Kenneth Oyler, engineer for the applicant, stated he objected to the continuance of the application as he was not informed of the engineering requirements mentioned in the City Engineer' s communication to the Commission.
