HomeMy WebLinkAboutAdden 1 LAG-10-002, Adden #1-15 ADDENDUM"A"TO LEASE WHEREAS, the Renton Community Foundation ("Tenant") and the City of Renton ("City") entered into that certain Lease LAG-10-002 on August 1, 2010, for property located at 1119 Bronson Way N, Renton, WA 98055, commonly known as the Liberty Park Building ("Lease"); and WHEREAS, the term has expired and the Tenant has been occupying the premises on a month-to-month basis under the terms of the Lease; and WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the Lease to extend the term and adjust the lease payments; NOW,THEREFORE,Tenant and the City agree to amend the Lease as follows: 1. Paragraph 2 of the Lease is amended to add an additional two (2)years to the lease term from February 1, 2015 to February 1, 2017, with two (2) automatic one (1) year renewals unless termination is given under the terms of the Lease. 2. Paragraph 3.A of the Lease is amended to adjust the monthly rental to six hundred fifty dollars ($650.00) plus excise tax of eighty-three dollars and ninety-six cents ($83.96), for a total of seven hundred thirty-three dollars and ninety-six cents ($733.96), per month, payable in advance. 3. Paragraph 3.8 of the Lease is amended to add the following language: The CPI adjustment methodology shall be as stated but shall be adjusted by calculating the CPI increase from February 2015.
