R-850-76, REZONE FROM- R-2 TO R-3 I spoke with Mr. McGerry over the phone today in reference to his rezone application. Last week Mike Smith and I met with Mr. McGerry on 1/9/76 and explained some possible alternatives to him. We indicated that it appeared he could construct the proposed number of units on the subject property with the present R-2 zoning by Special Permit. Today Mr. McGerry requested that we hold a decision on his rezone application for the present time so that he can further assess his situation. I informed Mr. McGerry that he can reactivate his rezone request any time in the near future, if he wishes, or he can get a refund on his rezone application fee and file for a special permit. WCT:bg
