NOTE: Change Orders and Slemental Agreements require FAA approval prior to construction,
otherwise no Federal participation can be granted. State Aeronautics concurrence is required when
state participation is anticipated.
JUSTIFICATION FOR CHANGE
1. Brief description of the proposed contract change(s) and location(s).
CO#01 is a no-cost, time extension which increases the Contract duration by 30 calendar days, from 76
calendar days, as defined in the Scope of Work, to 106 calendar days.
2. Reason(s) for the change(s) (Continue on reverse if necessary)
CO#01 provides additional time to the Contractor for procurring the blast wall material from the
manufacturer. Currently the estimated delivery time is 72 days from the day of the delivery. Additional
time would be required for assembly of this blast wall after the material is procurred.
3. Justifications for unit prices or total cost.
Since this change order only adds days to the contract and no additional work, the unit costs are not
affected.
