The Local Agency of City of Renton desires to supplement the agreement entered in to with KPG. Inc. and executed on 11/5/14 and identified as Agreement No. CAG 14-146 All provisions in the basic agreement remain in effect except as expressly modified by this supplement. The changes to the agreement are described as follows: I Section 1, SCOPE OF WORK, is hereby changed to read: See attached Exhibit A for Supplement 6 Scope of Work. I I Section IV, TIME FOR BEGINNING AND COMPLETION, is amended to change the number of calendar days for completion of the work to read: No Chan�e. III Section V, PAYMENT, shall be amended as follows: See attached Exhibit E-1 for Supplement 6 Fee Estimate. Maximum Amount Payable Increases $27,921.87. as set forth in the attached Exhibit A, and by this reference made a part of this supplement. PROIECT DESCRIPTION�BACKGROUND The City of Renton ("City") has a desire to enter into a supplemental design agreement with KPG ("Consultant") for additional design, drafting, and estimating services not captured in previous supplements. This supplemental scope addresses the additional work refated to changes in the overall scope of the project that includes the following tasks: ❑ Design, Drafting, and Estimating services for: o Downtown illumination Standard PS&E Revisions o The Lofts Improvements/Main Ave PS&E Revisions o Addition of The Lofts Trenching Details and Quantities o Main Ave/2nd Signal System Revisions ❑ Structural Design services for: o Plaza space urban design amenities Deliverables prepared by the Consultant are identified at the end af each task. B. SCOPE OF WORK WORK ELEMENT 1—MANAGEMENT�COORDINATION�ADMINISTRATION The Estimated project duration is 2 additional months. 1.1 The Consultant will provide continuous project management for the project duration of the project through final design (estimate 2 months). 1.2 The Consultant wil) prepare monthly progress reports identifying work completed in the previous month,work in progress, upcoming work etements, and reporting City of Renton Downtown Circulation Project—Phase 1 Supplement 6 KPG Project Number: 14080 1 October,2016 of any delays, problems, or additional information needs. These reports will be submitted with the Consultant invoices. 1.3 The Consultant will provide internal quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) reviews of all major deliverables prior to submittal to the City. Work Element 1 Deliverables: 4 Monthly progress reports (2 monthsJ WORK ELEMENT 2—DESIGN,DRAFTING,AND ESTIMATING SERVICES 2.1 Downtown Illumination Standard PS&E Revisions—At the 100% design submittal phase, the City elected to modify the illumination design details and lighting wattages utilized on the Project. This work element covers the necessary effort to coordinate the design revisions with the City, review and assist in drafting revised illumination detail, make revisions to the Signalization and Illumination Plans (2 sheets), revise the Special Provisions, and Estimates. 2.2 The Lofts Improvements/Main Ave PS&E Revisions and Addition of The Lofts Trenching Details/Quantities — At the 100% design submittal phase, the City reached an agreement with The Lofts Development team on work to be performed on the SW corner of Main Ave/S 2"d Street intersection and trench restoration activities afong Main Ave. It was decided that the following design elements would be introduced into the Main Ave Project Plan set: SW Corner of Main AveJS 2"d Street: ❑ Curb and gutter ❑ Signal pole foundation ❑ PS pole foundation ❑ J-boxes, vaults, and conduits ❑ Vehicle bollard and foundation ❑ Temporary sidewalk HMA restoration Main Avenue from S 3rd Street to S 2"d Street: ❑ Trench restoration for water and storm This work element covers the necessary effort to coordinate the design revisions with the City,make revisions to the Plans(13 sheets),revise the Special Provisions, Quantities, and Estimates. City of Renton Downtown Circulation Project—Phase I Supplement 6 KPG Project Number: 14080 2 October,2016 2.3 Main Ave/2nd Signal System Revisions- At the 100% design submitta) phase, the City decided to move Signal poles located at the NE and SE corners of Main Ave/S 2"d and add 3 new pedestrian push buttons located at the NW and NE corners of Main Ave/S 2"d. This work element covers the necessary effort to coordinate the design revisions with the City, make revisions to the Plans (2 sheets), revise the Quantities, and Estimates. Work Element 2 Deliverables: m Revised Plan Sheets, Quantities, Estimates, and Special Provisions to be included in the eid Documents. WORK ELEMENT 3—STRUCTURAL DESIGN SERVICES 3.1 The original scope of work did not include structural design services and was identified as an Additional Service. During the development of the plaza design and art feature, the City elected to design a reinforced concrete pedestal that an undetermined art feature would sit upon. This required design and drafting services of a structural engineer. This work element includes the effort required to coordinate the design with the City and sub consultant (CivilTech), design and draft the art pedestal, supplement the Special Provisions, Quantities, and Estimates. Work Element 3 Deliverables: � Supplemented structural plan sheet, Quantities, Estimates, and Special Provisions to be included in the Bid Documents.
