JUSTIFICATION FOR CHANGE
1. Brief description of proposed contract changes and locations.
COP#3: Additional Perimeter Fencing
This change will modify the overall layout of the final airport perimeter fence around the removed 820
Building site.
2. Reason for the changes.
The revised layout of the perimeter fence will provide access to the existing 800 Building PSE gas meter
and pedestrian door, and better suit the needs of the airport.
3. Justification for unit prices or total cost.
The Contractor submitted a change order proposal with a lump sum price to complete the work. This
cost was reviewed by the project team and found to be acceptable for the work required. The quantity
of additional perimeter fence beyond plan quantity was measured in the field and verified. The
proposed price was compared with at least two contractors, and is in line with market value for the type
of fence and quantity installed.

'Quote good for 25 days.Materials must be ordered and shipped immediately in order to guarantee price.Material orders not received immediately are
subject to any price increase initiated by our suppliers.
