RIVERVIEW PARK— BRIDGE REPLACEMENT

ADDENDUM TO THE DESIGN CONSULTANT AGREEMENT
BETWEEN PND ENGINEERS, INC.
AND THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
This addendum is entered into between the City of Renton and PND Engineers, Inc.
amends and attaches to and is part of the existing agreement entered into previously
between the parties on December 27, 2013.
Amendment 2: Article 4. Comqensation:
Pursuant to section 4.4 of this Agreement, entitled Change Order, is amended as
fol lows:
The total payment for Addendum No. 9 shall be on a Time and Materials basis, with a
not to exceed limit of Four Thousand Nine Hundred Seventy-Seven Dollars and Fifty
Cents ($4,977.50). The total amended contract amount shall not exceed Three Hundred
Fifty-One Thousand Six Hundred Eighty-Eight Dollars and Seventy-three Cents
($351,688.73), including WSST. The total reflects the following additional work:
• Completion of As-Builts (original budget was consumed by submittal review)
• Review of utility designs and submittals provided by the contractor
• Final expenses to close out the project
Amendment 3.Time of Performance:
Extends the time of completion from March 15, 2016 to October 1, 2016.
In all other respects,the Scope of Work/Basic Services; City Responsibilities; Added
Services; Reimbursable Expenses; Insurance Requirements;Termination of Agreement;
Successors and Assigns; Non-Discrimination and Compliance with Federal, State and
Local Laws; Arbitration; and Hold Harmless; and exhibits to the agreement shall remain
the same as agreed to in the original agreement.
This agreement is entered into as of the day and year written below.

Utilities Review and Closeout

(A) SCOPE OF SERVICES:
I INTRODUCTION
This work order is issued pursuant to the Standard Agreement for Professional Services dated December 27,
2014 between the City of Renton and PND Engineers,Inc. Unless otherwise specified below,the performance
of services hereunder and the payment therefore shall be subject to the terms and conditions of said Agreement.
The fees shown are estimates and actual fees and expenses including mark-up will be submitted monthly for
invoicing.
SCOPE OF WORK
� In Amendment #7, PND's budget was revised to a not-to-exceed amount of$346,71123. PND exceeded it's
previously agreed upon budget prior to beginning the As-Built drawings for the bridge.The bulk of this added
cost stemmed from review of utility submittals provided by Rodarte Construcrion. These submittals were
intended to repair leaks in irrigation and potable waterlines. PND has previously informed the City of Renton
that these overages were occurring.Below is a brief summary of these cost:
1. Completion of As-Builts (original budget was consumed by submittal review).
2. Review of utility designs and submittals provided by the contractor. '
3. Final expenses to close out the project. PND estimates appro�cimately 3.0 hour of coordinarion
Attached to this amendment is a summary of PND current charges.This charges do not reflect some remaining
charges that result from closing out the project. As stated above,these remaining closeout cost will be less than
3 hours of an Engineer's time.
DELIVERABLES
• All required tasks have been completed.
FEES
PND proposes that the City of Renton reunburse PND for the services rendered on the basis of the project
billing rates.These fees are sutninarized on the attached cost proposal.This amendment requests a sutn,not to
exceed,$4977.50.
