ADDENDUM NO. 4
RIVERVIEW PARK— BRIDGE REPLACEMENT

ADDENDUM TO THE DESIGN CONSULTANT AGREEMENT
BETWEEN PND ENGINEERS, INC.
AND THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
This addendum is entered into between the City of Renton and PND Engineers, Inc.
amends and attaches to and is part of the existing agreement entered into previously
between the parties on December 27, 2013.
Amendment 2: Article 4, Compensation:
Pursuant to section 4.4 of this Agreement, entitled Change Order, is amended as
follows:
The total payment for Addendum No. 4 shall be on a Time and Materials basis, with a
not to exceed limit of Forty-Eight Thousand One Hundred and Forty-Eight Dollars
($48,148.00).The total amended contract amount shall not exceed Two Hundred Sixty-
One Thousand Two Hundred Sixty-One Dollars and Twenty Cents ($261,261.20),
including WSST.The total reflects the following additional work:
• Additional costs incurred during design due primarily to breaking out the old
bridge demolition plans from the new bridge design plans
• Extent of the building permit review process effort
• Evaluate subgrade conditions prior to placement of structural fill at the bridge
abutments
• Quality control observation and inspection of structural fill placement and
compaction
• Determine pile capacity based on results of on-site pile installation
• Additional on-site inspections beyond the original contract scope
• Subcontract with a third-party inspection agency to perform welding and
fabrication inspections
• Project management, reporting, and administration
In all other respects, the Scope of Work/Basic Services; City Responsibilities; Added
Services; Reimbursable Expenses; Insurance Requirements;Termination of Agreement;
Successors and Assigns; Non-Discrimination and Compliance with Federal, State and
Local Laws; Arbitration; and Hold Harmless; and exhibits to the agreement shall remain
the same as agreed to in the original agreement.
This agreement is entered into as of the day and year written below.
