AMENDMENT #1
RapidRide Intelligent Transportation System Agreement
By and Between King County and the City of Renton,Washington
1.0 King County(the "County") and the City of Renton (the "City") entered into a
"RapidRide Intelligent Transportation System Agreement" on November 2, 2012 (hereinafter
referred to as the"Agreement").
Now, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants contained herein, the sufficiency
of which is hereby acknowledged, the City and the County hereby amend the above referenced
Agreement as follows:
2.0 This amendment shall modify Section 2: City Responsibilities for the Rainier Avenue S
Project, and Section 8: Financing, to read as follows:
Section 2. City Responsibilities for the Rainier Ave S Project
2.8 The City shall furnish and install an electrical service cabinet at the intersection of
SW 7th Street and Hardie Avenue SW, expand concrete foundation for the County's
RapidRide ITS cabinet at SW 7th Street and Rainier Avenue S, add a type 2 junction box
at Rainier Avenue S and S 3rd Street, add a 2 inch diameter conduit at the NW corner of
Rainier Ave S and SW 7th Street to the westerly boundary of the Rainier Avenue project
limits along SW 7th Street, and revise concrete foundation for bus shelters, technology
pylons and bus signs at 5 bus stop locations along the Rainier Avenue S project as
provided by the County. See Attachment A.
Section 8: Financing
8.3 The City may invoice the County for an amount not to exceed $25,819 for work
outlined in Section 2.8 above upon the County's final inspection and acceptance of this
work.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this Amendment#1 to the
Agreement on this day of TM4
