Dear Mayor Law:
Pursuant to Section 1 of Addendum#7-14 to the Pm�k and Ride Gar•age Agr•eement beh��een the
City of Re��ton and King Coz�nty for the Renton City Municipal Garage,King County
Department of Transportation(KCDOT) chooses to exercise the option to extend the agreement
for years 2016 and 2017,and to continue our option of fifty(50) additional parking spaces in the
garage for transit comrnuter park-and-ride purposes for years 2016 and 2017.
KCDOT acknowledges that for 2016 and 2017 rent is owed for one hundred(100)parking
spaces and additional rent for the fifty(50)additional parking spaces. For 2016 and 2017,
KCDOT shall pay rent and additional rent at the same per-space rate of$30.00 per spacehnonth
in effect for the leased spaces as shown on Exhibit A of Addendum#7-14. For 150 spaces the
guarterly costs are calculated to be $13,500 and the annual costs to be$54,000,as shown in the
attached table.
