HomeMy WebLinkAboutCO 06u CITY OF RENTON Public Works Department CHANGE ORDER NO. 6 CONTRACT CHANGE ORDER AGREEMENT CONTRACT: South Lake WA Roadway Improvements (Garden Ave. Widening) CONTRACTOR: ICON Materials SUMMARY OF PROPOSED CHANGE: CAG -12 -021 C.O. #6 Page 1 of 1 Reason /Justification: The Contract documents propose revisions to coordinate with the Highland to Landing pedestrian project, including signal and illumination revisions. Curb ramp revisions are also included in this proposed change (NW and NE comers of the intersection) along with channelization across the north leg. The island in the NE corner of the intersection is revised from a traffic island to a pedestrian island with a "pass- thru ". Thickened edge cement concrete sidewalk replaces cement concrete sidewalk at the NW comer of the intersection. This change order includes the additional concrete work only. Associated quantities are adjusted and new bid items proposed where applicable. Refer to the attached revised Drawings Numbers 4 -7, 11, 16 -17, 23, 27 -30, 35 and 45 for the applicable proposed changes. Contract Change: Add. Modify Drawings Numbers 4 -7, 11, 16 -17, 23, 27 -30, 35 and 45 as shown. This change order includes the additional concrete work only (ICON Materials and subcontractor Tyee). Additional working days are requested for the additional rq ading. forming and pouring of concrete. It does not include additional working days for any other Highlands to Landing pedestrian project work not included in this change order.
