The plans called for the conduit to be routed in such a way that would require demo of the existing sidewalk,curb and gutter.It was decided to mole underneath rather than trench and demo to minimize the impact to cost.This required additional conduit and a'fype 2 Junction box rather than a Type 1. Remobilization—Wilson Concrete The Contract Plans showed the sidewalk ending to be completed by others east of the ST Access Driveway. The City of Renton requested that additional sidewalk be placed to extend to the end. This required Wilson Concrete to remobilize to the site and construct the additional sidewalk and curb& gutter. Abandon Sound Transit Monitoring Well The existin-monitorin(,well for Sound Transit was within the Tukwila fire access road and either needed to be relocated or decommissioned.The city requested that the well be decommissioned, Pump Station Revisions-INICC Some additional modifications were required for the startup of the pump station.The Contractor is- sued RFI#128 requesting information regarding issues they were having with startup testing. Incom- patibilities between the MCC and Pumps were discovered.The following adjustments were required in order to start up the pump station: • Leak Detection—ReNv4e • Overternp—Rewire • Intrusion Alarm—Panel adjustments and wiring • Ammeter—Provide larger readout Additional De-watering—CO#19 Two days of dewatering was required during the installation of the new drainages system.The labor was compensated for in Change Order No. 19—Groundwater Separation.The pumps were not in- eluded in the cost and are included in this change order. The total cost for this change order is S 1047.79.There will he no compensation for additional work- ing days for this work. The executive summary is not a part of the formal change order but provides backup for the formulation of the change order including a cost recapitulation. The revised pricing includes a J Box Type 2, rather than a J Box Type 1. The revised pricing of $2,727.15 is acceptable and will be compensated under Minor Change.
