this contract is herein modified to include the change detailed below. Additional quantities for existing and new items shall
constitute the complete and final secdanent for allocate of labor,material,equipment,ovahead,profit,permit fees,damages
(whether direct or indirect),and all other claims by the contractor as amok of this change.

Reason for Change:
On May 13.2013,during the Stage 2 Sheet Pile installation,the Contractor encountered an obstruction
at the north wall at approximately 30 feet below grade. This obstruction conflicted with 5 sheet piles.
On May 14th,Atkinson submitted Serial Letter r#36 Notice of Change.Atkinson moved over to the
south wall and continued to install sheets until a solution was determined.The City ofRenotan issued
Serial Letter#29 in response to Aticinson's letter.They requested the Contractor remove the sheets that
are bitting the obstruction,and drive an H Pile with a cutting tip to determine ifthe obstruction can be
broken up.Atkinson started driving the H Piles on May 17*.They were able to break through the ob-
struction,and the remaining sheet piles were installed on May 20th and 21st.Forte account was
tracked by the City of Renton inspector on the additional effort to drive the H Piles and was agreed
upon with Atkinson. The total cost of this change is$24,953.51. An addition of 4 non-compensable
working days will be added to the contract.
