SUMMARY OF PROPOSED CHANGE:
Reason/Justification:After the curb and gutter were placed in the Maplewood Glen neighborhood(Schedule B),the
grade of the sod in the planter strip was too uneven in the seven foot planter strip. It was decided to remove all the
sod and install new sod. To help offset the cost of the sod removal,it was then decided to use hydroseed instead of
sod. Sod would have cost over$11,000. The weather this time of year is favorable for hydroseeding.
Contract Change:Add item for Hydroseed to Schedule B
Add new bid items to the schedule of prices(Schedule A).
