SUMMARY OF PROPOSED CHANGE: Reason/Justification:After the curb and gutter were placed in the Maplewood Glen neighborhood(Schedule B),the grade of the sod in the planter strip was too uneven in the seven foot planter strip. It was decided to remove all the sod and install new sod. The unit price was based on the contractor's cost to dispose of excavation that is composed mainly of sod. Contract Change:Add item for Unsuitable Material--Sod to Schedule B Add new bid items to the schedule of prices(Schedule A).
