HomeMy WebLinkAbout09Sept18ResidentialSurveyFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE September 18, 2017 City of Renton Contacts Preeti Shridhar, Deputy Public Affairs Administrator, 425-430-6569 Kristi Rowland, Senior Finance Analyst, 425-430-6947 City of Renton conducts 2017 Residential Survey Random households will receive an invitation to participate via email, mail, or phone RENTON, WA – Random households within the city limits will be receiving an invitation from Mayor Denis Law to participate in the City of Renton’s 2017 Residential Survey. Invitations were sent by email and regular mail and contain a link to the web-based survey. Early the week of September 18, the city will also start conducting a phone survey of residents. The survey is being conducted by Northwest Research Group in order to maintain confidentiality and ensure the feedback received is scientifically valid. Both the web and phone surveys are using random sampling so not every household will receive the invitation to participate. The results of the survey will be used to determine how city-provided services are being received by residents and to determine service gaps. If you are contacted, the city would appreciate your participation. The city making their Language Line services available to meet the needs of residents who would be more comfortable with translation assistance.
