RENEWAL OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN RENTON SCHOOL DISTRICT#403
and
RENTON PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT, CITY OF RENTON
This Renewal of Agreement, made and entered into this I q 4A day of
M#.YGh , 1997, by and between the City of Renton, a municipal corporation,
hereinafter called the "City" and the Renton School District#403, State of Washington,
hereinafter called the "District".
WITNESSETH
WHEREAS, the City and the District entered into an Agreement on April 11,
1994 for the purposes of reciprocal facility usage, hereinafter called the "Original
Agreement"; and
WHEREAS, the Original Agreement, Section 18, provided for subsequent
renewal after review by and approval of both parties for such additional terms as the
parties may agree; and
WHEREAS, both parties are desirous of extending that Original Agreement and
art to terminate with

90 days written notice prior to renewal;
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants and promises included in
the Original Agreement and hereby extended, the City and the District do now agree to
cooperate with each other in carrying out the purposes of the Original Agreement, and
to that end agree to follow the provisions of the Original Agreement except as modified
below:
Section 18: The term of the Agreement, as renewed on 1997, shall be
for one year and is subsequently automatically renewed each year. Either party may
terminate this Agreement with written notice to the other party at least 90 days prior to
expiration. The parties may subsequently modify the terms of this Agreement after
review by and written approval of both parties.
