Renton Mayor Denis Law Authorizes Lowering Flags to Half Staff in Honor of Fallen
Firefighters
RENTON, WA: In honor of the three firefighters who lost their lives on Wednesday while battling
raging fires in Washington state, Mayor Denis Law has authorized that flags at all Renton fire stations
be lowered to half staff.
“Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the three brave firefighters who died in the line of
duty as well as the four injured firefighters and the communities impacted by the fire,” said Mayor
Law. “
Flags will remain at half staff at Renton fire stations for a period of 24 hours after the service.
