Funeral Service Information for Renton Firefighter Donovan Eckhardt
WHAT: The emergency responder community, public, and media are invited to pay their respects to
City of Renton firefighter Donovan Eckhardt, who passed away on August 24, 2015 , following a
courageous fight against cancer.
Please note that the procession to the service will be for apparatus from south King County
Zone 3 only.
Media will have a reserved area for parking and for camera setup to cover the arriving
procession and inside the church for the service. The media is asked to arrive by 11:30 a.m. to
ensure they are in place prior to the procession arriving.
Department and family spokespersons will be available following the service.

Donations in lieu of flowers can be made in Donovan’s name to the Southern Utah Wilderness
Alliance at www.suwa.org.
