City Hall Art Exhibit Promotes Inclusion
Partnership with Renton high schools engages students
RENTON: The City of Renton has partnered with the Renton School District to highlight the
diversity in our community by inviting high school students to share their vision of inclusion.
Beginning in January and rotating throughout the year, students will provide artwork that
demonstrates their interpretation of diversity and inclusion. The current exhibit was provided
by the students at Hazen High School.
"This display helps to demonstrate our inclusion goals, while also showcasing the talent of
students from one of our local high schools,” said Mayor Denis Law. “We are striving to create
an inclusive community for all while embracing the many diverse communities of our city. This
display is a testament to these goals."
The current exhibit will be in the lobby of Renton City Hall through February 29, with a new
exhibit scheduled for March.
