"Roofs" Justification: Standard: We are proposing to use a roof pitch lower than the One of the following is required for all development: required 6:12 pitch. The proposed 4:12 pitch provides I. Hip or gabled with at least a six to twelve (6:12) a more congruent massing, scale and proportion for the pitch for the prominent form of the roof Modern style of this elevation (A). We feel that the (dormers, etc., may have lesser pitch), or proposed roof meets the intent of the guidelines 2. Shed roof. Will meet the objectives and safety, function, appearance, environmental protection and maintainability intended by the Code requirements, based upon sound engineering judgment; and 2. Will not be injurious to other property(ies) in the vicinity; and 3. Conform to the intent and purpose of the Code; and 4. Can be shown to be justified and required for the use and situation intended; and 5. Will not create adverse impacts to other property(ies) in the vicinity.
