BACKGROUND: NE 10th Place is a Residential Street with an existing ROW width of 60 feet (as per assessor map). This street classification requires a minimum right-of-way width of 53 feet. According to the Renton Municipal Code 4-9-250 section D the new sidewalks will provide safety and function, will improve the appearance of the neighborhood while maintaining environmental protection. Changing the sidewalks will not only improve the appearance of the neighborhood but also eliminate the risk of injury to the pedestrians that the current cracked sidewalks can pose. We will not disturb the sidewalks adjacent to the neighboring properties We are planning of not doing a planter strip of 8' -0" rather just a 4' -4" sidewalk plus a O' -6" curb for a total of 4' -1 O" sidewalk to match the rest of the neighborhood in its existing location. There is no room in front of the house for the planter strip. SEf' 2 3 21Jlfi ' MAN HOLE fOPAT~249lfEjt_ 1 ___ N88D2'"l34"W8187 __ ---~ __ 1[::._.$..TI~~e, ___ & ___ ~ ___ <IE_ __ ,!l __ ~ I t~.
