There are 17 existing parking lot poles with high pressure sodium fixtures and seven pedestrian poles and lights, which will be replaced with 32 parking lot LED fixtures and poles, and 15 pedestrian metal halide (LED if budget allows) and poles. One ofthe existing parking lot poles and all of the pedestrian poles and lights to be replaced are within 200 linear feet of the Cedar River. This project type is considered to be a normal maintenance or repair of existing structures or developments. Work is anticipated to occur between October 1, 2011 and January 15, 2012. The Contractor will acquire an electrical permit for this work. There are no special features ofthis site, and the location of the closest existing light to be removed is approximately 15 feet from the top of the right bank of the Cedar River, and approximately 30 feet from the ordinary high water mark of the shoreline. The closest new light to be installed will be approximately 80 feet from the ordinary high water mark ofthe shoreline.
