Reconsideration: Within 14 days ofthe decision date, any party may request that the decision be reopened by the approval body. The approval body may modify his decision if material evidence not readily discoverable prior to the original decision is found or if he finds there was misrepresentation of fact. We are on a corner lot and are applying for the special fence permit to build a 6-feet tall fence. We would like a 6-feet tall fence for added privacy. In addition, other corner lots in our neighborhood have 6-feet tall fences. We would only like to fence our backyard meaning it will be located outside of the clear vision area. -We already have in place permanent landscaping along the front of the fence. Over time this landscaping will continue to mature and cover more ground. -Our fence will be setback from the road and sidewalk. Specifically, it is 8-feet back from the sidewalk. -We will be using cedar fencing which is a quality fence material. -Our community has HOA (Homeowner's Association) guidelines regarding fencing. Therefore our fence will have the same design and material as the other fences in our neighborhood. -We have included photos of our house as well as neighboring houses to help you better visualize our justifications for a 6-feet tall fence.
