In March 2014, Council adopted regulations for recreational marijuana and extended the moratorium for applications medical marijuana business licenses or permits. Since then, staff in conjunction with the Planning Commission has been engaged in a work program regarding medical marijuana. It is proposed the code be amended to define collective gardens and to not allow medical marijuana bUSinesses, cooperatives, collectives, gardens, or other types of enterprises in any zones.
