Brief Summary of Request: We would like to request modifications to the residential design requirements so that we can build the house with a more contemporary/modern style as well as incorporate a few ADA "sensitive" features that will appeal to a demographic our research says is the likely market for this home, Please list the code section you are requesting a.modification from and the "Standards" for that specific code: Write the points of justification and reasoning to grant.the modification. Justification: We are requesting approval of window trims that are narrower in some locations and absent in others in order to harmonize with the modern design of the house. We are also not putting shutters on the windows in order to keep with the modern theme, We are using a variety of paint colors and textures in order to accent different architectural elements of the home in place of trim detailing.
