Chair,Jim Phelan called the meeting to order at 4:30 pm.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Review of the August minutes for the 08/23/11 meeting.

A.J Approval of the Entry Level Police Officer Eligibility List.

e.) The Temporary Appointment of Sergeant Michael Luther as an Acting Commander was provided for
informational purposes.
C.J The Temporary Appointment of Commander Kent Curry as an Acting Deputy Chief was provided for
informational purposes.

A.J Approval of the revised Lieutenant promotional announcement

OTHER BUSINESS/COMMENTS:
Deputy Chief Tim Troxel noted that Officer Aaron Hisel will be moving to Kentucky and they hired a
Lateral Candidate to fill that position. Deputy Chief Troxel also stated that the Commander
promotional process will be completed in October and an eligibility list will be brought to Civil Service
at the October meeting.
