This project will also upgrade all intersection ramps to current ADA standards as well as install and replace all delineation to City of Renton standards. Also included in this project are the adjustment or evaluation for replacement of existing features affected by resurfacing such as monuments, catch basins, or drainage grates. This principal arterial and T-1 truck route is a major east-west corridor that serves and directly connects to the Sounder Station. SW 43rd St connects directly to SR 167 and is used as a main access to Valley Medical Center, IKEA, and other major employment centers. Resurfacing this roadway will improve the overall condition of the pavement and the project will extend the pavement life (12-15 years) of this key east-west South County corridor. New project. The City was awarded a $1,000,000 STP grant for Pavement Preservation in 2018. 2,040,000 - Project Expenditures & Resources Programmed Programmed Pre-2019 Six-Year Program
