Increased estimated costs from previous TIP for inflation. 317 122176 Keith Woolley 425-430-7318 This project involves a series of improvements in this corridor to improve traffic operations such as rechannelization and traffic signal modifications, possible transit priority signal treatments and queue jumps. This project will seek to meet pedestrian, transit and bicycle needs. Phase 1 constructed a new signal and other improvements at NE 4th St and Whitman Ave NE. This corridor has a strong potential for transit usage and is experiencing rapid residential and retail growth. The NE 3rd/4th Corridor Study was adopted in May 2005. The study refined the corridor transportation needs and costs, including pedestrian, transit, bicycle improvements, as well as streetscape enhancement.
