AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
VACATING A PORTION OF LAKE VIEW BOULEVARD (104T"
AVENUE S.E.) (LEGACY PARTNERS/MARTINDALE, ET AL. - VAC-98-
004).
WHEREAS, a proper petition for vacating a portion of Lake View Boulevard (104`h
Avenue S.E.) located east of Lake Washington Boulevard and south of N.E. 20`h Street was duly
filed with the City Clerk on or about December 10, 1998, and said petition having been signed by
on the owners representing more than two-thirds (2/3) of the property abutting upon such street
sought to be vacated;and
WHEREAS, the CityCouncil, byResolution No. 3366 passed and approved on January
4, 1999,and after due investigation did fix and determine the day of January 25, 1999,at the hour
of 7:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers of the City of Renton to be the time and place for a
c_-- public hearing thereon, and the City Clerk having given due notice of such hearing in the manner

N provided by law, and all persons having been heard appearing in favor or in opposition thereto,
and the City Council having considered all inlbrmation and arguments presented to it;and
WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works and the Utilities Committee of the City of
Renton having duly considered said petition for said vacation,and having found same to be in the
public interest and for the public benefit, and no injury or damage to any person or properties will
result from such vacation;
NOW,THEREFORE,THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON,DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The following described street,to wit:
(Portion of Lakeview Boulevard North between Lake Washington Boulevard
North and SR 405,from N. 12th Street to N.20`h Street.)

See Exhibit "A"attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully set forth herein.
be and the same is hereby vacated.
SECTION II.The City Council hereby elects to charge a fee of$61,000.00 as a street
vacation fee.
SECTION III. This Ordinance shall be effective upon its passage, approval, and five
days after its publication.
A certified copy of this Ordinance shall be filed with the Office of Records and Elections,
and as otherwise provided by law.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 13th day of March ,2000.
