The applicant is also proposing to prune large sprout from another Big leaf maple based on Terry Flatley’s recommendations (see Exhibit Type of Critical Area Kennydale Creek buffer Work Occurs in Critical Area Work Occurs in Buffer PURPOSE: Exempt activities provided with a letter of exemption from the Development Services Administrator may intrude into a critical area or required buffer (Subject to any conditions or requirements provided by the Administrator). APPLICABILITY OF EXEMPTIONS: The following is a general list of activities that may be exempt from the critical areas regulations. More specific descriptions of the activities are contained in the Critical Areas Regulations. Some of the listed activities may not be exempt in certain critical areas. A permit is required when property owners perform tree pruning to street trees. Topping is prohibited. A permit is required. Property owners may be required to plant a replacement tree after removal. The sprouts have failed over adjacent property. Please remove sprouts by September 6, 2018. 2. Big leaf maple, 23 inches diameter in poor condition. Prior large stem failure due to structural defects. Please remove tree by September 6, 2018.
