The first Bid Item No. 36 is for Cement Conc. Curb Ramp Type Perpendicular A and the second Bid Item No. 36 is for Type 3 Stop Line Loops. The second Bid Item No. 36 for Type 3 Stop Line Loops will be eliminated from this contract. 2) The project intended to develop the bid documents based on 4,000psi concrete for curb, gutter and sidewalks. However, it is not stated in the Special Provisions it is only stated on the City Standard Plans. This change order will change all concrete from 3,000psi to 4,000psi. 3) Bid Item No. 16, Planing Bituminous Pavement — 4 Inch Depth, will be removed from the contract and Bid Item No. 15, Planing Bituminous Pavement — 2 Inch Depth, is increased from 5,400 SY to 23,987 SY for an increase of 18,587 SY. Bid Item No. 14, HMA Cl. %Z In. PG 64-22, is reduced from 5,200 ton to 3,085 ton for a decrease of 2,115 ton. Reason for Change: 1) Bid Item No. 36, Type 3 Stop Line Loops, is no longer needed. 2) The City has determined that 4,000 psi concrete provides a more consistent, long-lasting product. 3) It has been determined that a 2 inch grind and overlay will be sufficient for all of the roads in the contract. Contract Provisions: Appendix A: Summary of Quantities - REVISED Appendix A: Summary of Channelization Quantities — REVISED Sections 1-04.4 and 1-04.5 of the 2018 WSDOT/APWA Standard Specifications shall govern this Change Order. The Work of the referenced Contract is modified to include the changes detailed herein. The payment provided for herein shall constitute the complete and final settlement for all costs of labor, equipment, materials, overhead, profit, permit fees, and all other claims that may be made by the Contractor as a result of this change.
