Motion carried, minutes appraved. CORRESPONDENCE Jim Shepherd re�iewed a letter from Margaret and Warren Mitchell of Kent, who frequent the Renton parks system and senior acti�ity center. Although they do not Ii�e in Renton they enjoy our facilities and made a $100 contribution to show their appreciation. Leslie Betlac� sent them a thank you note. CONSENT Jim reviewed #he following consent items: Julie Brewer, Community Relations Manager, requested permission from the Park Board to bury the 2001 time capsule in Cedar Ri�er Park, adjacen# to the Centennial Lasting Legacy sculpture. The time capsule wifl be sealed at a city cauncil meet'rng and buried in 2001 when soil conditions and the weather are more fa�orable. A motion was made by Michael O'Donin to have the January meeting at city f�a11 and defer a decision or� �he remainder af the year's meetings untiS January. Motion carried. Liberty Park Update Leslie Betlacn, Parks Director, gave an update an Liberty Park. 5he will bring a conceptual plan to the January meeting for the Board's review. Comprehensi�e Plan Tom Beckwith was in attendance to review the telephone survey and addi�ional chapters of the comprehensi�e plan. Much of th� plan was stilI incomplete and the financial da#a was not accurate. !t was decided to ha�e an additional works�op prior to the January meeting to allow Mr. Beckwith time to make corrections and comple#e the missing chapters. At the workshop the board members would be able to review the material and as�C any questions they may ha�e. Accredita#ion Upda#e Sylvia Allen, Recreation Director, re�iewed the schedule of the accreditation team and said there would be a reception for the board and �isiting teams in conjunction wi#h the regular monthly January meeting.
