All presen# were in favor, motion carried, minutes approved. ANNOUNCEMENTS Jim Sh�pherd announced Tinia Hartmann, of the recreation division, was lea�ing and a farewell potluck would be held if anyone were interested in attending. CORRESPONDENCE Jim reviewed a fetter from Heather and David Ellis, represen#atives of the Classic Yacht Association, who requested permission for their group's boats to moor overnight on October 25'h and 26'"at Gene Coulon Park. This also could potentially be a safety issue. The request for cor�tinuous amp�sfied music was arso a concem due to the proximity of homes in the area. Recognizing this worthwhile fundraiser and the volunteer's and participant's efforts staff is willing to work with group on a more suitable lacation, such as Ron Regis Park. Ron Regis made a motion to concur with s�aff recommendation and deny the request for use of Liber�y Park, the motion was seconded by Michael O'Donin. Motion carried, request denied for Liberty Park bu# approved at a mutually acceptable location to staff an� participants. �LD BUSINESS Leslie Betlach, Parks Direc#ar, gave updates on the Highlands Irrigat�on Project, Coulon play equipment replacement, the Veterans Memorial Park, the Maplewood Golf Course Tournament Scoreboard and tF�e Park A�enue tree removal and replacement project.
